Who looks after your information?

Eva’s Energy Ltd is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 13626835. For privacy questions or requests, email info@evasenergy.co.uk or call 07503 529702.

Your journey, before you send

You can explore this website without making an enquiry. When you save a system choice (solar + battery or battery only), roof type or electricity-use choice, it stays in your browser’s session storage. Your name, email, optional phone number and optional property address stay in the page while you complete your plan. These form answers are sent to us only when you review them, give permission to be contacted and press “Submit my enquiry”. The separate contact form sends your details when you give permission and press “Send enquiry”.

You can change your answers before sending, choose “Clear this plan and start again”, or leave without submitting. Closing the tab normally ends its session storage; your browser’s session-restore settings may retain it.

What we receive

An enquiry includes your name and email address. Your phone number and property address are optional. It also includes your system choice (solar + battery or battery only), roof type and annual electricity use, if provided. We also record when you submitted, which form you used and your permission to be contacted. We also keep relevant correspondence, enquiry status and internal notes used to prepare quotations and follow up your request. If you enquire by phone, email or referral, authorised staff may add the details you provide to the same private enquiry system. For booked site visits and installations, we keep the scheduled dates, any visit times and the team members attending. You can select an unknown roof or usage option. If you prefer not to complete the form, contact us directly.

Our hosting and security services also process technical information such as IP address, requested pages, browser information and security signals to deliver and protect the website. These technical requests are separate from submitting your enquiry.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry to respond, understand your requirements and discuss a possible installation. Where you ask us for a quotation or other steps towards a contract, this is our basis for processing. We rely on our legitimate interests in answering general enquiries, maintaining relevant correspondence and enquiry records, planning quotations and follow-up, and protecting the website for those activities. We may retain information where needed to meet a legal obligation.

The contact permission shown on the form lets you decide whether to send your enquiry. It does not subscribe you to marketing. You can ask us to stop following up at any time. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting processing already carried out. The website’s animations and choices do not make binding automated decisions about you or your installation.

Who helps us provide the service?

Authorised Eva’s Energy staff use a private enquiry system. Cloudflare hosts the website and database and provides access protection and Turnstile anti-spam checks. Turnstile processes network and browser signals to distinguish visitors from bots; Cloudflare also uses signals to improve its bot detection, as explained in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

We use Resend to send website enquiry notifications to our team. These notifications contain the details you submit so we can respond to you. We use Google Workspace for email correspondence. Website fonts are served from our own website. For Google Workspace, see Google’s privacy policy. We do not sell your enquiry or pass it to other installers for marketing. Information may be shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for legal obligations or claims.

These providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Applicable protections can include adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards. Cloudflare describes its transfer arrangements, including the UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses, in its Data Processing Addendum. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

Browser storage and cookies

This website uses session storage for your saved system, roof and electricity-use choices and to remember that you have entered the site, so the entrance does not repeat unnecessarily. These records support the features you use; they are not advertising profiles. You can turn off the entrance reminder below. The sound control, where available, changes playback on your device.

Security services may use cookies or similar technologies for verification and secure access. See Cloudflare’s cookie information. We have not added advertising trackers or Google Analytics to this website. You can clear stored site data through your browser settings, although doing so may clear your saved choices.

Your entrance preference

Remembering that you have entered the website prevents the opening animation from repeating. Untick this option to stop remembering your entrance in this tab. This does not clear your solar plan. The setting is stored only to respect your choice; closing the tab normally clears it, although your browser may restore it.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information only while needed to handle your request and relevant follow-up, with a maximum of five years for enquiry records. We may remove it sooner when it is no longer needed. If you become a customer, records needed for your installation, warranties, accounting or legal obligations may need to be kept longer. Enquiry details can be held in our enquiry system and in email notifications and correspondence. Deletion requests are considered across the relevant records, subject to any lawful need to retain them. You can contact us to ask about deletion or the retention period applying to your records.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, have it erased, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We welcome the opportunity to address your concerns directly.
